Beach Volleyball & Mingle

Serve. Compete. Rotate. Connect.

Get outside, get active, and meet new people through a night of beach volleyball designed around fun competition and natural interaction.

Whether you're an experienced volleyball player or just enjoy getting out on the sand, this event is built to keep you moving while giving you plenty of opportunities to meet different people throughout the evening.

How It Works

We'll start with a quick welcome, introductions, and warm-up before dividing into mixed-gender teams of two.
You'll then begin playing short-format beach volleyball matches.

Rotate & Mingle

The biggest difference between Beach Volleyball & Mingle and a traditional volleyball league is the rotation.
You won't be stuck playing with the same partner all night.

After each round, teams will rotate whenever possible. New teammates and opponents are introduced throughout the evening, allowing you to experience the game with different people.

While you're waiting for your next match, you'll have time to:

-
Grab some water
-
Watch the games
-
Relax on the beach
-
Talk with other participants
-
Get to know someone you just played against
-
Meet people you haven't played with yet
-

These built-in breaks are an important part of the event. Some of the best conversations happen after you've just played a competitive game together.

A Little Friendly Competition

The games will be competitive enough to keep things exciting without turning the evening into a serious tournament.
Depending on attendance and skill levels, the event may include a combination of:

-
Short matches
-
Round-robin play
-
Rotating partners
-
Challenge rounds
-
A final competitive round
-

The exact format may change based on attendance and court availability so we can keep everyone involved and maximize interaction.

Meet People Through the Game
Beach volleyball naturally creates opportunities for connection.

You'll learn how someone communicates with a teammate, handles a mistake, celebrates a great play, and encourages someone who's having a rough round.

Instead of standing around trying to figure out what to say to a stranger, you already have something to talk about:
"Nice save."
"I definitely should have gotten that one."
"Want to be partners next round?"
The activity creates the conversation for you.

Cool Down & Social

After the final match, we'll have an opportunity to cool down and socialize.
Stay, grab some water, and continue conversations with the people you connected with throughout the evening.

Whether you're looking for a new volleyball partner, a new friend, or a potential romantic connection, Beach Volleyball & Mingle gives you multiple opportunities to meet people naturally.
Who Should Attend?

Anyone who enjoys being active and having fun on the beach.

You don't need to be a competitive volleyball player, but you should be comfortable with basic movement and participating in recreational games.
What to Bring:Â Athletic clothing, appropriate beach footwear if desired, water, sunscreen, towel, and anything else you normally bring for a day or evening at the beach.

Come ready to play, rotate, meet people, and have a good time.
